Principal
A message from the Mrs. Allie Lloyd
Dear Guin Foss Community,
Welcome to Guin Foss Elementary School! It is with great pride and heartfelt enthusiasm that I serve as the principal of this incredible school. Returning to the Tustin Unified School District, where I was raised and began my teaching career, is a meaningful and full-circle moment for me. I am truly honored to lead a school so deeply rooted in excellence, community, and care.
Over the past fifteen years, I have worked in public education as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, my teaching credential from California State University, Fullerton, and my Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Hope International University. Every step of my journey has been centered around creating supportive, inclusive school environments where students thrive both academically and emotionally.
As a school leader, and as a parent myself, I know the importance of a strong, collaborative relationship between home and school. My husband and I live in Yorba Linda with our two daughters, who are entering fifth and third grade this fall. Like you, I want my children to feel safe, challenged, and celebrated at school, and I bring that same commitment to every student and family at Guin Foss.
At Guin Foss, we are committed to providing all students with engaging instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and a safe, caring campus where they feel a true sense of belonging. Our exceptional teachers and staff work tirelessly to support each child’s unique needs, while encouraging them to become curious thinkers, kind citizens, and confident learners. I am excited to partner with you to ensure every child is supported, challenged, and celebrated.
To all of our returning families, welcome back! To those who are new to Guin Foss, we are so glad you are here. Whether this is your first year or your fifth, please know that you are an important part of our school community. I invite you to stay connected through the ParentSquare app, our school website, and our Instagram account, @guinfosselementary. I also welcome your questions, ideas, and partnership; I believe communication and collaboration are at the heart of a thriving school, and I look forward to connecting with you in the days ahead. I encourage you to get involved. Whether by joining our PTO, attending school events, or volunteering in the classroom. We are stronger when we work together in the pod!
Thank you for the warm welcome and for trusting us with your children. I am truly honored to serve as your principal and excited for the year of growth, learning, and community that lies ahead.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Allie Lloyd
